These are primarily DC events with a few I personally need to remember thrown in. Addresses and Info for each venue are detailed at the end of this post. This list is updated occasionally to add new events and to delete past dates. Most events are deleted as they pass.

Friday February 12 & 13, 6-11pm Workhouse Arts Center Valentine’s Date Night - Share your creative side with your partner and join the Workhouse Ceramics, Glass and Dance Instructors for a fun evening. $75/couple. www.WorkhouseArts.org

February 13, 6-9pm: Workhouse Arts Center 2nd Saturday Art Walk - Meet the artists, as buildings stay open late from 6-9pm second Saturday of every month! Meet featured studio artists of the month and talk with local interior design professionals! Free www.WorkhouseArts.org

February 13 & 14, 10am-5pm Workhouse Arts Center ‘The Working Artist-Principles and Practice for Success’ Business Seminar. Glass artist Milon Townsend returns to the Workhouse to address many of the issues facing you as a working artist today. Cost: $100/both days. www.WorkhouseArts.org

February 14, time TBA. Workhouse Arts Center Stars on Sunday: South County Secondary School String Chamber Ensemble. Experience their delightful sounds as they perform in the Workhouse Arts Center’s unique gallery setting. www.WorkhouseArts.org

February 20, 7:30pm Workhouse Arts Center Gallery After Hours: Word Beat. An evening of percussion and spoken word poetry from Word Beat.Global jazz percussionist Tom Teasley and acclaimed singer/actor Charles Williams pair inspirational words with inventive percussive sounds.
